Lifted your 4th Gen Tacoma and the rear feels unsettled? The DR KDSS Bolt-On Trackbar Correction Kit (B.O.T.C.K.) raises the axle-side pivot to level the panhard (track) bar, so the axle moves straight instead of side-to-side. Built with a full wrap-around bracket and multiple Grade 8 bolts, it’s far stronger than common single-bolt brackets. Quick to install, fully serviceable, and made specifically for the 2024+ Tacoma.
Key Features
- Corrects panhard bar angle to eliminate side-to-side axle shift
- Full wrap-around bracket for unmatched strength and retention
- Double-shear adapter + washer plate distribute load evenly across the OEM mount
- Three Grade 8 bolts + OEM hardware (recommended torque: 120 ft-lbs)
- 100% bolt-on install — about 15 minutes with basic tools
- Finishes: Black, Red, King “like” Blue
- Vehicle-specific: 2024+ Toyota Tacoma (4th Gen, rear 5-link)
The 4th Gen Tacoma’s rear suspension uses a 5-link layout with a panhard (track) bar to keep the axle centered. After a lift, that bar no longer sits level; it angles toward the axle and forces the housing to arc sideways as it cycles. That’s why the truck can feel nervous over bumps and off-camber sections.
The DR KDSS B.O.T.C.K. repositions the axle-side panhard pivot upward so the bar runs closer to parallel with the ground. With the geometry corrected, the axle travels more naturally up and down, returning stability, predictability, and steering confidence to your lifted setup.
Unlike most relocation brackets that rely on a single unsupported bolt, this kit uses a wrap-around, double-shear design secured with multiple Grade 8 fasteners and a load-spreading washer plate. The result: no flex, no premature wear, and no bracket shifting under load — all while remaining fully serviceable and easy to remove if needed. If you’ve invested in a rear lift, this is the part that ensures it performs the way it should.
Why You’d Want It
Geometry is everything on a lifted solid-axle truck. By eliminating flex at the axle mount and correcting the panhard angle, the DR KDSS B.O.T.C.K. keeps the axle centered and your Tacoma tracking straight on pavement and dirt. It’s a durable, one time upgrade that protects your suspension investment for the long haul.
How to Choose the Right Bracket
- Measure from the ground to the center of the frame-side panhard bolt.
- Measure from the ground to the center of the axle-side panhard bolt.
- Subtract axle-side from frame-side to get the height difference.
- 1.5”–2.99” difference → Shorty (or Standard in the lower hole)
- 3.0”+ difference → Standard (use the top hole)
Pro tip: If you might lift higher later, buy the Standard now so you can move to the upper hole without replacing the bracket.
