Sxth Element Recovery Points for 4th Gen Tacoma Review

Front & Rear Billet Recovery Points for The 4th Gen Tacoma

These billet 7075 aluminum Rear Recovery Points are no joke. CNC machined, super clean fit, and rated to pull 11,000 lbs each. That means when you're stuck deep, these won’t fold or flex... they just flat out get the job done.

They bolt right up to the chassis, no weird brackets or complicated installation instructions.

Front Recovery Points

Front

Direct, solid, and dependable. You can run your favorite 3/4 D-rings or a massive soft shackle on the front. The front recovery point eyelets are much larger than the rear eyelets. They accept soft shackles larger than 1" and this is helpful because som soft shackles are just thicker with the sheath that goes around the shackle. There's nothing worse than being out on the trail and your soft shackle is too big to fit your recovery point eyelet.

Rear Recovery Points

Rear

The rear recovery point features the same design ethos; however, the eyelet is a bit smaller than the front. Regardless, this eyelet will still accommodate a 1" soft shackle or standard D-ring.

Whether you're getting winched from the back or getting yanked from the front, these Sxth Element recovery points are a must-have for the 4th Gen Tacoma.

Black or red anodized billet aluminum... both colors look incredibly sharp. The laser-engraved specs are a nice touch, too.

We always recommend using a bridle to split the load between both points. It’s just smarter recovery and easier on your truck.

Tested In Montana

While out on a recent trip in Montana picking up our GFC camper, we recovered a rigs that got hung up on its rear differential. We only tested the rear recovery points, and they worked great. We hooked up our Kinetic-X 8' Bridle to both Sxth Recovery points using two Kinetic-X soft shackles and then yanked the Tacoma out and over the rock. No complaints at all using these recovery points.

They are on the pricy side, but worth it at the end of the day when they will quite literally save your ass on the trail.
