What's the Best Axle Dump Exhaust Kit for the 4th Gen Tacoma? Sxth Element or NyTop?
If you’re running the 2024+ Tacoma and want to ditch that low-hanging tailpipe, here are the two axle dump setups everyone’s been running.
Sxth Element Trail Pipe and the NyTop Titanium tip.
The biggest difference is price. Sxth sits at only $99 for a TIG welded stainless unit and NyTop sits at a whopping $249 for a Titanium unit. Insane difference in price.
Let's find out if the Titanium unit offered from NyTop is worth the price.
Sxth Element Trail Pipe - $99

Clean and simple.
Full stainless, TIG welded, bolts right in, and tucks up high so you’re not dragging tailpipe through every rut, ledge, or rock on the trail.
It’s quiet too... still uses the factory muffler, so you don’t get that annoying drone in the cab. Solid choice if you’re just looking for clearance and keeping things low-key.
Under a hundred bucks, in stock, and installs in like 30 minutes.
Sxth Element Sound Clip (7:32 mark):
Definitely sounds better than the factory setup, but keep scrolling down and listen to the Nytop axle dump exhaust to see if you can hear a difference.
I think they both sound pretty similar at the end of the day.
NyTop Titanium Axle Dump - $249

More flashy.
Full titanium, weighs basically nothing, and swaps the axle-back section (as long as you’re not in a Trailhunter).
It’s louder than the stock unit and gives the truck a bit more of a throaty sound than the Sxth Element exhaust dump.
The only downside to the NyTop version is the price. Looks like an amazing unit though, no doubt.
Not cheap, and there’s a lead time.

Final Thoughts
Sxth is the move if you want function and clean lines without the price.
NyTop is for the guys who want that titanium look, lighter weight, and don’t mind a little extra noise, but at the end of the day, they both sound pretty similar.
You tell me, would you spend $99 on stainless or $249 on titanium?

Am I the only one who noticed that the driveshaft on the new Tacoma is massive or what? That thing is huge.
